Tastes of Lincolnshire


We are proud of the county we live in. Tastes of Lincolnshire campaigns to recognize and promote suppliers of local produce. Many of the products we sell in our shop and restaurant are produced on Holme Hall Farm and many others are bought in from local suppliers as we believe it is important to support local businesses.

Aberdeen Angus Beef

Comes from Mrs.Browns own herd near Lincoln and is hung for three weeks to make it incredibly tender.

Goats Cheese

From Bridge Farm near Snitterby, where Patty Phllips has her own herd of goats and produces her own goat’s cheese. She has soft cheese flavored with herbs and garlic and a hard cheese called 'Billy's Best'

Pipers Crisps

Made at Elsham with Lincolnshire potatoes , these high quality thick cut crisps have won gold in the great taste awards. Not avaliable at any supermarkets, but we have been lucky enough to supply these great tasting crisps.

Longley Farm

Who come from Yorkshire send us the most divine, unadulterated yoghurts, fromage frais and crème fraiche plus their own creamy butter and jersey cream.


Lincolnshire Poacher

From Ulceby, high in the Lincolnshire wolds Simon and Tm Jones have their own herd cows that provide the milk for their delicious cheese - original, vintage and smoked.


Holme Hall Honey

From the bees that live in hives around the farm and the taste differs from season to season depending on where the bees are feeding.


Tom Wood Beer

The Wood Brothers have been producing this fine ale straight from the Lincolnshire Wolds for the last ten years using their own malting barley.


Pattersons Pickle

Produced by the Halmshaw Brothers this Grimsby sourced pickle uses an age old recipie developed by the old Mr. Patterson.

Elephant Fudge

This delicious hand made Fudge is available with a wide variety of fun and fantastic flavours and textures, sourced from Market Rasen, Lincolnshire.

Cote Hill Cheese

Made using a continental style this soft aromatic cheese comes from Cotes Hill Farm at Market Rasen and is hand crafted to high standards of production.

Myers Plum Loaf

This small family company from Horncastle produces traditional plum loaf using a family recipie dating back to 1901.

Gringly Gringo

A young company which we encounterd at Brigg farmers market has created a firery range of sauces, jellys, picalilli and chutneys all made at Gringly on the Hill, Nottinghamshire.

Scotts Preserves

Another supporter of farmers markets Alan & Doreen Scott established this hand made jam company 15 years ago in their Farm House at Mareham-le-Fen Lincolnshire.

Fenella's Garden

Chris and Fenella gave up their day job with Suma to persue the good life, the grow organic vegetables and have started a local box scheme.

Rose Cottage

Our Yorkshire supplier of pies and pasties. to be found at many farmers markets in the counties of both Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

You can also catch us, and the best of local produce, every month at Brigg Farmers Market which takes place on the 4th Saturday in the month in the town centre.
